Recap: Atlanta vs. Tennessee

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Matt Ryan completed 15-of-21 passes for 102 yards and one touchdown, as the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Tennessee Titans 17-3.

Chris Redman was also efficient for the Falcons (1-2), throwing for 83 yards on 9-of-11 passing. Brian Finneran and Michael Jenkins each hauled in five passes for 53 and 44 yards respectively, while Jerious Norwood rushed for 53 yards on four carries.

Tennessee's Vince Young went 9-of-18 for 102 yards and one interception.

The Titans (2-1) led 3-0 after the opening quarter on a 50-yard field goal by John Vaughn, but a 49-yard field goal from Jason Elam forged a 3-3 tie at the half.

Following the break, Atlanta took a 10-3 lead when Ryan hooked up with Harry Douglas for a one-yard touchdown, capping a nine-play drive that began at its own 29-yard line.

The Falcons added to their lead in the fourth on Thomas Brown's nine-yard touchdown run.
